As part of our ongoing commitment to soliciting input from the
public in the development of our forest management plans, Tolko
Industries Ltd. (High Level Lumber Division - HLLD) and Footner
Forest Products Ltd. (FFP) will be hosting an Open House in the
community of Fox Lake on November 29 th 2005.
The Open House will provide the opportunity for members of the
public to view our 5-Year General Development Plan (GDP) for
our Forest Management Area (FMA) as well as our proposed Final
Harvest Plans (FHP's) for the 2005-2006 harvest season. The Companies'
will also display some of the long-term forecasts and strategies
that have been incorporated into our Detailed Forest Management
Plan (DFMP) and Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) Plan to address
wildlife, forest health, watershed management, and community
interests.
The Open House will take place from 1:00 - 3:00 PM on Tuesday
November 29 th at Kayas Cultural College in Fox Lake.
